  • Will my partner feel replaced by a Doula?

Doulas are in no way meant to take on the same role as your partner. Your partner knows you, your comforts, your emotions, and what you need emotionally better than anyone and will be a huge part of your birth & postpartum experience. Doulas come with knowledge about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum that your partner may not have and help them find the best way to apply that knowledge to you. We love to work with partners, giving them tips for comfort measures and empowering them to be a part of the journey.

  • When should I hire a Birth Doula

Doulas are a hot commodity. Many experienced doulas are booked 9 months out and only take a certain number of births per month. If you want to ensure I have availibility for you I reccomend reaching out quickly.
